Worm Definition:

A Worm is a type of malicious software that self-replicates and spreads independently across networks without needing a host file or human interaction. Worms are designed to Exploit network vulnerabilities, consuming bandwidth and resources as they replicate, and can carry payloads that deliver additional harm, such as data theft or system damage.

What is Worm?

Worms operate by replicating themselves and transmitting copies across a network, often without alerting users. Unlike Viruses, which require a host program to spread, Worms can propagate autonomously, allowing them to spread rapidly and widely, infecting devices and networks in their path.
